CHARLES M. VAN HORN DIED AT BERKELEY HOME

Charles Van Horn, 54, passed away in Berkeley Sunday, following a long illness. Heart trouble was the cause of death. Cremation was held Monday, services being conducted by the McAbees lodge, of which he was a member of long standing.

Mr. and Mrs. Van Horn were residents of Gustine for several years, during which time they made many friends in this vicinity. Mr. Van Horn was a member of the local Odd Fellows lodge, joining in 1916. He was a carpenter by trade and worked at various times for West Side contractors.

Deceased is survived by the widow, Rose Van Horn, and an adopted son, Arthur.
