 Mrs. Rachel Garrett
 Final rites will be held here Tuesday at the Mission Chapel of Ivers and Alcorn for Mrs. Rachel B. Garrett, who died Thursday at her home at 80 E. Mission Ave. She was 69.
 Rev. Charles Hoffmeister of Central Presbyterian Church will officiate at the 11 a.m. services and burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
 Mrs. Garrett, born Dec. 8, 1903 at Burr Valley in Fresno County, had lived here for the past 27 years. She was a member of the Merced County Election Board for 16 years and the Merced Colony Grange. A son, David, preceded her in death in November, 1970.
 Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joyce E. Mills of Farmington, Minn., three sons, Robert Mills of Palo Alto, Norman Mills of Stockton and William Mills of San Francisco, three sisters, Mrs. Gervinia Reins and Mrs. Estelle Sale, both of Merced, and Mrs. Ethyl Finley of San Bruno, a brother, Burel Treece of Concord, six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
 Contributions to the Rachel Garrett Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
