Wm. Cravens Funeral Held

Funeral services for William Cravens, 67, Merced, were held Wednesday in the Ivers and Alcorn Mission Chapel. Entombment was in the Evergreen Mausoleum, Merced.

Cravens, a retired lumberman, died Sunday night in a Merced hospital. A native of Illinois, he had lived in the Chowchilla and Merced districts for 36 years.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Minnie Cravens, Merced; eight step sons, Lloyd and Mervin Dougherty, Merced; Harold Dougherty, El Nido; Floyd Dougherty, Chowchilla;
Beldon Dougherty, Danville; Charles Dougherty, Salinas, Leslie Dougherty, Stockton and Clarence Dougherty, Ecuador, So, America; and two step daughters; Mrs. Hazel Dinsmore, Watsonville, and Mrs. Myrtle Tabucchi, San Francisco.
