Mabel M. Angle
1909 - 2006

  Mabel was born in Madera, CA but lived most of her life in Dos Palos, CA. She passed away on New Year's Eve in Los Banos, CA at the age of 97.
She was preceded in death by her husband John "Tut" Angle, as well as six siblings. Mabel played golf into her late 80's and was a master bridge player until the age of 90.
Although she would never acknowledge her talent, she was an accomplished oil painter.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Jean and Ray Hurtado and her son and daughter in law, Burton and Gerrie Angle. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her family will miss her great laugh, honesty and the love she gave her family.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at 11am at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Dos Palos. Burial will follow at the Dos Palos District Cemetery.
